Abigail Cook is an artist and advocate based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Abigail is currently a student at Georgia State University where she has maintained a 3.9 GPA while working toward two Bachelor's degrees in Studio Art and Film and Media. She works professionally in communications and public relations, but spends her free time creating. She has published art and poetry in The ReSentencing Journal, Columbia University's IWI, and UC Denver.
As a senior in college, Abigail was actively working local and state public policy in the City of Atlanta and Georgia. This afforded her the opportunity to speak at the State Capitol, Emory University, Georgia State University as well as present in front of the University System of Georgia's Board of Regents and the Criminal Justice Association of Georgia. She continues to speak and educate others through her personal story and art.
More than anything, Abigail hopes to serve her community.
